I was laughing histerically at this one. I love the running commentary.

Sara, you crack me up! I think I do enjoy your intro commentary every bit as much as these faux pas, sometimes more. Keep up the most entertaining work! (I'm looking at real estate lately and always have my eyes peeled for something funny for you, but so far nada.)

I guess they figured they'd make the house look more homey or something by adding flowers.

But when they reused the same flowers in every shot, the only effect they managed to create was a comical one.

I can just imagine the homeowner running madly around the house, camera in one hand and flowers in the other.

Oh well, can't say they didn't try.

And the realtor probably thought they were being subtle. "The house is so lovely, it's positively *filled* with flowers!"

(And hats.)

hmmm... let's see, where else can we photograph this lovely bouquet? No picture of the garage... the flowers would really detract from any oil staining?

Um people, this property is in Celebration, Florida. It's a city owned by DISNEY. It's OBVIOUS that the flowers ARE alive, and probably work in the Enchanted Tiki Room!

Needless To Say said...

This is what happens in Florida when the real estate agent tells you to stage the house.

Don't you just hate it when the floristry follows you round the house.....happens to me all the time.

Laughing out loud. Really!

Oh, Celebration, FLA.... a 'planned community' by Disney. More like a micromanaged community. But IMHO, Celebration is still a step above Clearwater!

Thanks!! That is the funniest thing I read all day long!!! HA HA HA HA!!!

Do we think this is the same Celebration, Florida subdivision that has the big container of lemons?

Substitute baby for flowers and this is what my whole evening has been like. Thank you for that much-needed laugh!

Love this one and also the king's comment :)

I am imagining a couple: "Honey, put the flowers on the fridge."... "Honey, now put the flowers on the counter."... etc. etc. All the while, the other person mutters to themselves.

Alright, I understand the staging purposes of the flowers... but why near the door?

Perhaps they had enough of being moved and decided to make a run for it.

Okay, first let me add that the idea of a city 'owned by Disney' is just plain wrong on too many levels!! That being the case, the flowers aren't alive. . .they're animatronic!

But what did the flowers do with the basket in the first picture... scary I think.

It reminds me of a Twighlight Zone episide where a creepy doll was following this guy around and eventually he trips over her and falls down the stairs to his death. In this case, the flowers follow the prospective buyer from room to room and then if they don't make an offer before they leave, the flowers trip you up on the way out the door and you crack your skull on the cement entryway and bleed to death before the hat can call the ambulance.

I know where I saw those flowers before!!! It was on that old StarTrek episode when Kirk and the crew beam down to the planet with the flowers that shoot the "Happy" spores. . .and Spock falls in love with a blonde chick and everyone is enjoying themselves. . . and one of the flowers somehow follows Kirk back to The Enterprise!

I might actually consider buying the place if it incuded "Happy" flowers!!
