Someday it will become a state

Not everyone knows this, but -- as this listing found by Susan shows in its only photo -- here in Washington Territory, half of all houses are stockades. True!

Guess they are ready for the injuns and the end times.

Architectural style: Neo-Waco Revival!

I like the stockade - all for a bit of privacy me - but I'm a bit confused by the bath arrangements, he has half a roof-type bath if I've read that correctly, but three quarters of a bath outside - how does that work?

I know I moved from the area awhile ago but there is no Light Rail in Seattle. Unless they are talking about the trains that are going to the airport but don't really come from anywhere.
My hubby has always wanted a fence I wonder if it has a turret?

I feel like Magwa and Uncas ought to fight it out for the place or something.

I like how the property details list the upgrades, but this is the only picture. Leading to the question: Upgraded from what? The dirt floors of a soddy and the outhouse replaced with one of them fancy flush commodes?

This place really looks like it's preparing to be besieged back in the days of the War for Independence. That's great and all, but it suggests terrifying things about the plumbing.

I hear the coffee houses are pretty much the same.

George Washington slept here.

If you stare at the steps long enough, it starts to look like an M. C. Escher drawing. The door at the top looks like it could be actually at the bottom.

If you climb those stairs enough times, Pai Mei will teach you the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique.

Oh wonderful. Now I can't stop humming the theme to F Troop.

I kinda want to drive by this property. It's so weird-looking! The light rail is near completion and test trains are running but it's not fully operational as of yet.
