Not included: gum

Oh, come on. For a quarter million bucks, couldn't you at least fill the gum machine? What are they teaching them at staging school these days, anyway?

Rule #1 of staging: ALWAYS FILL THE GUM MACHINE.

Maybe the gum machine refused to be filled.
Mayhap it is sentient, a distant cousin of Tom Servo!

Wow this house has some very interesting things going on from the blue carpet room with that pole running along the ceiling to the toilet set on the diagonal. I just don't know where to begin other than the price ~ you are kidding me right?!

we must have gone to a different staging school.

rule 1 at my school was:
Dont talk about staging school.

rule 2 was pretty similiar.
DONT TALK ABOUT STAGING SCHOOL.

[obviously i flunked out]

Holy crow, the price! For an old kitchen, and a tiny (and rather revolting) bath? Imagine what it might cost if it was...nice. I guess you're paying for the lot.

Is that an even close to realistic price? Yes, I know, I know...funny blog! Have fun with the funny stuff, let logistics go. I'm in shock over here, though. I live in Denver, which is also considered one of those "Favorite places to live in the U.S." and...holy smokes, that is about the average price per square foot in the nicer metro areas, but you only get it for places that are nicely done.

That's not our "pretty much, screw the TLC, you're going to want to rip just about everything out...for starters!" price per square foot. And with no warranty! So, it's got to be about the lot value?

I'd probably need a gumball to raise my blood sugar so as not to faint.

I don't think it's the lot either...

It matches the ceiling lamp... maybe it IS a lamp itself.

Mike Nelson would be proud of this kitchen.

Joel Robinson [Hodgson] was king over Mike Nelson hands down!

Good to see Tom Servo has maintained his studdish figure all these years! Perhaps it's because he's foregone the gumballs...

Interesting listing. The gumball machine is the most valuable thing in it. Perhaps the new owner could sell the gumball machine for close to the 2000 it's worth and get a decent light for the dining room and fix up the bath!

Anon, that house would be cheap at double the asking price in my hometown. Housing prices are not anything like even from city to city.
