Paging Modesty Chair. Modesty Chair, please report to listing.

(Clarification, of sorts, for newer readers: the Chair is not in the original photo. It's a Modesty Chair, in case small children wander past the screen while you're reading this.)

Patti found this "2 Storie Guest House," available July 1. I am confused. On one hand, the listing says -- in a positive tone -- that there's a church 20 yards away. On the other hand, the listing includes an upskirt shot of a cheerleader. Just what kind of church is it down the street? And am I going to regret the visitors I get who are searching for "upskirt" and "cheerleader"? Should I throw in a few more words to head them off? broccoli James Mason blender repair mola mola

I think the explanation lies in the emphasis on the University of Arizona, one of the biggest party schools out there -- no offense meant to U of A grads.

Or, and I kind of hesitate to say this, I think the person is trying to do a tie in to the cats/dogs okay with that shot and the shot of the backyard.

I know, pretty crass but I bet they thought they were being really clever.

Oh lordy.

This sounds like one of the apartment scams, honestly. I mean, the guy who listed it isn't even the landlord, he's the tenant!?! WTH?

Also, I laughed at the search string words. Classic. Those broccoli loving upskirt chasers won't know what hit them.

I remember, early in the internet days when people didn't know a lot obout "netiquette," I posted image urls to other people's images--only a few times. Because the last image url I realized I had "stolen" automatically linked itself to a photo of a naked man's penis going into someone's mouth.

That was a good lesson.

So I'm going to say, do you think maybe there's a chance that the pic is accidentally the wrong url, or maybe it's someone else's image? I mean, Brittany shot here.

Hellbound: Nope, they're not hotlinked. They'll all hosted by craigslist.

People, let's be thankful. At least he spared us the mercy of whatever is actually up on the walls in his apartment. I suspect there aren't enough modesty chairs in Arizona.

To answer Danielle's question: Why a tenant, rather than a landlord, would list an apartment: because they're moving out before their lease ends.

As for the modesty-chair-requiring photo question ... Land of shimp's theories sound all too plausible: cf. this recent Jason Jones report.

I think the cheerleader shot ties in with the land shots as in "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

Wow! If ever there was a need for the Modesty Chair, this certainly was it.

Well, now all readers of the ad named "Patrick" should be good and paranoid.

This posting has now been deleted, so the cheerleader must have helped for a quick sale :)

The funny thing was that her g-string actually had a little embroidered Chair.

Erm, don't cheerleaders wear dance pants under their uniforms any more? Am I really that old? Get off my lawn!

I've already put in an offer. The cheerleader was the clincher.

Jackie, I was thinking the same thing - who cheers wearing a G-string? We had those little pants things under our skirts......hell, it was only 20 years ago!

I'm guessing some eager beavers didn't want to taint their reputations by not taking a crack at this listing in time to snatch it up.
