Blogtastic: Shy Town

I wilt in hot weather, and humidity makes me cry... so I'm off to Chicago! If you're at the BlogHer convention, please find me and say hello. I'll be the one with no social skills pretending that no, I didn't really want to mingle, I'll just stand here and stare at the wall happily, tra la la...

Comment moderation is going to be even slower than usual the next few days. Sorry. Bigots and spammers are why we can't have nice things.

Wish you were there,
Sara

P.S. Home now. Here are a few quick notes on the conference.

If you're lonely, I'm sure you can hook up with Chair and catch up on stuff.

I hear those BlogHer conventions are more like women's prisons from Hong Kong slasher exploitation movies. Have a great trip!

I don't know how I will find you, but I want to find you and tell you how much my whole office loves this site. :D Including me, of course.

Me + Chair = Hong Kong women's prison fight scene.

Yeah, I've never been before, Kim, so I have no idea how people meet up. Luck? Drunkenness?

Longtime lurker here, coming out to say that I will be in Chicago and if I see you, not that I have any idea what you look like (the profile picture is TINY), I will definitely say hello!

I've never been to Chicago and won't be there for the convention.

But I have enjoyed your blog ever since I discovered it from another blog that I enjoy (Hooked on Houses) and check it daily.

Enjoy the convention! :)

Aw, thanks, anonymous!

CaraBee: I'm a white woman with brown hair. Oh, and I'm in my thirties. And tall. I should be the only person fitting that demographic profile at BlogHer, right?

Unless you've got the accordian with you, I'm afraid the Caucasian description with the brown hair might be a tad "broad brushing it".

Carry your accordian, that way everyone will recognize you immediately! ;)
