I know what I like, and that's not it

Ellen found this delightful mansion in Duckburg. Who's never wrong, but always right? Who'd never dream of starting a fight?

Which goes to show that just because you have a lot of money doesn't mean you have a lot of taste.

I like the suit of armor -- perfect for fending off fighting ducks.

But Donald has a crown, therefore, CLASSY.

Nothing accents a suit of knight's armor like a painting of a disney character.

It took me a really long time to get that. I need more coffee.

Hey, good for them, having a sense of humor and putting up something they like rather than something pretentious. Gooooo....people who are much, much richer than I could ever hope to be!

Also, the driveway won an award?

I wonder, for what can a driveway win an award? Does anyone attend the awards ceremonies? How is this a selling feature, and how does one go about telling people that their driveway won an award?

"Sweet pad! It was built in 1895, you say?"

"Yes, and let me show you the Pavey the driveway won."

"It's a little statue of a ..."

"Steamroller, that's right. We built a case for it."

"Award-winning gardens and granite cobblestone driveway"

I think the garden/landscaping won an award not the driveway. But entertaining rant, regardless.

I like it too. Not taking your big beautiful fantastic 10M mansion too seriously. Now we just need to dress the big metal guy in a rumpled dirty Lehman Bros. suit, holding a "will work for..." sign--as that is probably why this house is on the market!
It took me a while to get it too tho-- must be because I am not as OLD as you guys!:) Had to google "who's never wrong and but always right". Then I looked a bit closer. Ah ha--hahaha. Last one in on joke sucks.

It was good sense in security terms not to put up a photo of Scrooge's gold-coin-swimming-pool in the basement.

Duck Tales!
A-wooooooooo.

This is what happens when geeks make money.

I love it, really. I'd adore having a house like this. Heck, I already plan to have a media room decorated in part by row upon row of boxed action figures.

This home is not far from where I live, though I am most definitely am on "the other side of the tracks." Since every second home in this entire zipcode is for sale, I'm thinking you could make a competitive bid for say, $5MM, and probably walk away a winner. (Where the grand prize is that you get to pay $52k in taxes every year.) In all seriousness, most of the homes in this area are like this, are for sale, but I'll bet none other feature Daffy.

Mr. Trump promptly fired the decorator after she mistakenly put up the wrong portrait of "The Donald".

I have a feeling Donald is there in honour of how that family got their $10 million. There are tons of Disneys in that part of Illinois.

But where's the money bin?!

I always thought donald was one of the more lame cartoon characters. He was always like watching one of the village people with a speech impediment.

Personally, I was a Daffy duck man, myself.

Oh wow, I'll just take that sun room and call it my whole house. Mmm.

OMG I haven't heard that song in a good twenty years. "Who gets stuck with all the bad luck? No one...but Donald Duck!" Almost makes me want the house.
