Closely resembling an apartment you can rent

Yes, I would like to rent this apartment. And I will pay you my rent with this:

Found by Joe.
And just to spell it out, because someone always gets confused -- not that I blame you, I think this blog mostly gets read by people waiting for the morning coffee to kick in -- the top photo is from the listing, the bottom photo is from the It's Lovely! HQ and is of some of the VERY FINGERS THAT ARE TYPING THIS ooooh

"Close to NYC . . ." -- um, technically that neighborhood IS part of NYC! Surpised there wasn't a photo of a subway map with fingers holding it up.

I'm not really comfortable with giant human appendages laying around my apartment...

"play money"....as in pretend money? For that, you can pretend to rent the apartment.

Reminds me of a true story ... many years ago I worked as a bank teller. One day a woman of questionable affluence and hygiene came in with a photocopy of a check for $25 made payable to Cash and drawn from that bank.

I had no choice. I photocopied a 20 and a 5 and cut them to size in the back room while she waited. It seemed only fair. She was less than pleased and threatened to have my boss fire me.

I did not get fired.

Another banking story...

Someone came in with a photocopy of a £50 note, looking for change. It had dotted lines round the edge so that they knew where to cut!

Even better, go to the listing and look at the google street view. There's a great van in the pic. Reminds me of some of the listings on It's lovely (or do you use ILITI?)

Are these just blurry pictures, or is this place haunted?
