Oh good. I was looking for a... thing.

What am I looking at? I have no idea. True, my glasses have fingerprint smudges all over them, but that's not enough to explain this. It seems to be a... green tarp? Or is it a fence? With some kind of building -- probably the one that's for sale -- behind it? And the building appears to be thatched, which seems odd given LA's habit of bursting into flames.

Maybe there's a driving range or batting cages below?

Maybe it's a stage of some sort?

Maybe they just really liked the look of a big piece of green fabric (?) thrown about?

Looks like a prototype of the wildfire-proof house-covering tarp:

Does it convey with the home?

I think that's one of those "tree protection area" kind of tarps. We have a nasty predilection for Urban Sprawl here. Those things are everywhere.

However, I agree...thatched roof in LA? You're askin' for it.

Lessee, no access to the site with a car cause no parking-- check! Three bathrooms: 3.00-- check! Possible bedrooms: 0.00-- check! What in the heck is it?!? A wooded potty stop for wayward hikers?

Your assessment seems correct, bikerchick. It appears to be a public restroom designed by a socially-progressive student of Frank Lloyd Wright, given the fact that the structure is blocky in nature and has three restrooms.

The tarp was added by a few locals who decided it was a good place to grow a small pot farm. With nearby restrooms.

okay i'm a little confused here. are they sellign a parcel of land, a house, a foundation of a house, a camper van, or a green tarp?

and the p[rice? they say its value is $0 and its market value is $0 but they are asking nearly 300,000?

and if it is that house on that hill, how on earth does anyone walk on up to it? do thay have to climb that fence to get in?

"LENDER OWNED REO, CASH OFFERS ONLY THIS IS A MAJOR FIXER, PLEASE READ AGENTS REMARKS NO TERMITE NO RETROFIT, NO WATER HEATER BRACING SMOKE DETECTORS GAS SHUT OFF VALVE OR 9A REPORT THIS IS BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY IS FROM MONTEREY ROAD NO ON SITE PARKING "

what does that mean? no water heater, smoke detectors, or gas shut off valves? are they hoping this place will just blow up?

no termite cleance? are they telling us that there are no termites? orr that termites are not clear to live there? or are they just unclear aobut the termite issue?

i am totally confused...

Miss H.

You asked, "Does it convey with the home?"

You just gave me nightmares from my property law class... "O conveys Greenacre to A..."

That?!? That's Jurrasic Park, L.A., silly! Underneath that green tarp is the pit where they keep the T-Rex. Oh, wait...I don't see the T-Rex there anymore...do you!?

Sooo.. T-Rex is out starting fires?

Well, if you don't want a pot farm with really close pottys, you can always tear it down for the $2M land value!

Highland Park in the hills, major fixer... I have a feeling the price on this one will drop a bit further!

What is really astounding is that someone paid $640k for that gemstone in 2006.

I think that is a gigantic rubber slingshot or maybe a wet damn.
