Stupid me. I thought the listing was going to show it to be bank owned. That's what our REO's look like before and after...but we don't put up the before pic.
Interestingly enough, I think the first one is the "after" and the second one is the "before". If you look closely at the photos, the messy kitchen has the outlet covers included, whereas the neat kitchen has the outlets uncovered or exposed. It's almost like the did an inexpensive renovation on the kitchen, then decided to make dinner and take a photo.
why bother posting the messy one if you already have a pic of the kitchen, at a better angle, and clean! that's messed up. is it just me, or does $35,000 for a house seem cheap? i'm from toronto.. our homes just cost more i guess....
That first picture reminds me of my newly-purchased home after the seller's realtor-person hosted a realtor's luncheon in my kitchen (and didn't clean up afterward). Yep, happened AFTER we bought it. *shakes head* What ARE these people thinking???
Did you take a look at the virtual tour? Every single picture is a "before" -- with the place completely trashed. Why someone would take a half-dozen pictures like that, I do not know!

That's just embarrassing. Why would they do that? Are these "real estate agents" even looking at these photos before they post them online?
Haha, that's hilarious.
Where did the stove go in the second picture? It's missing! Hmmmm..
Weird, they took the light switch covers off when they cleaned it. I guess that's what the wanted to do, a total "clean sweep."

Um, where did the stove go in the second picture?
An important part of my cleaning ritual is to remove the switchplates on the electrical outlets. How else can you keep those wires from getting dusty?
Did you notice that in the "after" photo, there aren't any outlet covers? Seems strange to me.
i won't tell you which is before and which is after in my house...
is the stove completely missing now? oh wait, I think I see the corner of it... maybe it didn't clean up so well and they just shoved it over a tad?

And look, when they cleaned it they seem to have removed the range as well! Maybe it was too dirty to clean up?
Oooh, it has a rent to own option! But at $35k, WHY are the taxes $2k??? Maybe they mean sales tax?
I wish those fairies would vgisit my house now, please.
Did you see what's written at the bottom of the listing?
"Information is deemed to be correct but not guaranteed."
LOL

you can see the previous resident on google streetview

no wonder it is so cheap; google has been known to kidnap persons caught identifying the streetview car
I love Before and Afters. So much so that sometimes before I clean up my extreme untidiness or redecorate I take a photo of Before and After.
I just don't think of them as a selling tactic...
I wish they hadn't closed in the front porch... could have used that money to expand the kitchen...
