Why is this house for sale? Did Barbie and Ken get a divorce?
We looked at a house like this once. They even had pink LIGHT BULBS in all the fixtures.

Now I'm feeling rather lucky that our house only had wall to wall dusty rose colored carpeting (in every room) when we moved in.

Either there was a special on pink (buy one shade, get several shades either side free) or someone has taken photos of the inside of Barbie's house. . . .
But I am thankful for small mercies - at least the furnishings don't appear in the photos. We can, thankfully, only speculate on the varying shades of pink the owner chose to team with the walls . . .

I was overwhelmed, for a moment there, until I realized that these people have only BEGUN...

Bess, it's okay if you're feeling queasy ... there's plenty of Pepto-Bismol on the walls. Just lick them.
I LOVE IT!!! (seriously) All pink would totally entice me to buy a house.
Its a shame, because the house might have actually been nice, had the owners not been so focused on one color. Excuse me while I go look at paint swatches in the blue/green family. I need to get that out my head, thanks.

You know that shelf near the paint counter at home depot? The one where they put all the clearance mis-color paint? I think that's where they bought all that pink. It's got to be. Nobody really chose to live in all that pink. Really.

I have two wing chairs I'd love to sell the owners of that home! My mother-in-law is very into pink and two of her chairs landed in our home when she retired and downsized her living space.

I once viewed a house that was painted wedgewood blue. In every room. With (I swear to god) white plaster reliefs on the walls. I even went back to view a second time and took my mum and sister because they thought I was exaggerating...

I wonder if the sane members of the family hit out in the green kitchen all day. Actually, it could have looked very nice, depending on how they decorated. Pink is a warm and uplifting color.
Really? Really? Pink. When I was a kid we went to an all blue house. I have never forgotten it. Every bit of furniture was blue too. I really wonder what their furniture was like. This is just scary. But then if I could my house would be all plaid. Do you think that my kids could grow up normal in a plaid house.

I just can't imagine having the furnishings to go with this home. If it had those pink light bulbs, I would suspect it had been some sort of "party house" as nobody could possibly live that way.

I have a friend who's pink-obsessed... practically everything is pink. Her dorm room is furnished mostly in pink (probably the only reason she hasn't painted or wallpapered it pink is because we're not allowed to).
Something tells me her house is going to look very much like this one day... haha.

I'm another who kind of admires this--they've actually done quite a nice job with the painting, they've varied the palette, and I bet they absolutely love it. Which is the problem, as apparently they love it too much to realize that they need to paint over it if anybody else is ever to own the house.
Hey that paint just seems to have gone such a long way, it seemed a shame to buy another tin in a different colour.

I was handling it until I got to the green. Oh hell no! And then more green! So what you're telling me is that - that was no accident!!
I painted both bathrooms in my house a deep pink like the first bathroom (Sherwin Williams "amaryllis") and I loved it - my husband had other thoughts - but when we were thinking of putting our house on the market, the first thing I did was paint the bathrooms with a more neutral color (I don't like white so I painted them "honey"). Pink is such a controversial color, I wouldn't have even considered leaving it pink on the market.
