I WILL EAT YOUR SOCKS

I AM YOUR WASHING MACHINE! YOU MUST FEED ME! FEED ME! OR I WILL INVADE YOUR KITCHEN IN SEARCH OF DISHTOWELS TO EAT! RRRRRRR!

Are you sure it wants to eat the dishtowels? It looks like it might have thrown the dishtowels up...

YIKES! Perhaps all the dish towels and other cloths and clutter are the only things sparing the homeowners' socks!!

Beware: This house also has a $120,000 home improvement approval from the LA Airport.
Meaning - it is not only on the main flight path, but it is NOISY!!!

Perhaps after a major trash out and paint, it would show like the cute cottage it should be!

To me, this picture shows that the dryer is broken - I think those are unmentionables hanging off of the oven door - not dishtowels.

From the other pictures, we can tell that their trash compactor and their sprinkling system are also on the fritz (poor homeowners - when it rains it pours)

Personally, I think this house could use a little bit more storage... like a storage locker - that would really help the appeal :)

We can also see that these people drink a lot - there are a bunch of empty water bottles in the kitchen and empty beer bottles lined up in the dining room. Maybe the house makes you thirsty?

I wonder - if they didn't waste their money on junk, would they be able to afford the payments?

Oh, and Brandy: from the map it's not on the main flight path, but it is five blocks from the airport (sort of perpendicular to the runways). It would be a great location for someone who worked at the airport - if they could afford it.

For half a million, I'd like to able to SEE the counter top. They've given a good representation of how much it can hold...but....

The house looks so cute from the outside.

It does make me think I should never...ever display my collection of shot glasses. They will remain in the box in the basement.

Love your blog thanks for making me smile everyday and realize how good I have it.

Well, starting with the garbage can love affair in the front yard, moving on to the living room in which you can ride your bicycle and / or worship at the family alter, to the kitchen of well hydrated owners, this is a KEEPER!

I particularly like the idea of hanging plastic bags on the wall for art. And why use the space under the countertop for a trash bin when you can just hang your refuse in plastic bags from the knobs of your cabinets?

The good news is the presence of the tub scrubber in the bathroom...the implication of clean beneath the clutter.

Anyone notice the little girl's bike...in the living room?

Doesn't that show "Clean Sweep" film in the LA area? Can we nominate these people? Please?

Ah Sara,
You are such a gem - you know I'm always looking for decorating ideas and I had completely forgotten about how GOOD plastic fruit looks when draped around the windows in the kitchen. I'm going to buy some right away....ohhhh I'm excited.

Okay, I'm not the best housekeeper in the world, but just seeing the pictures of this house give me an anxious, claustrophobic feeling.

Maybe that's why they drink so much beer -- if you're drunk, you probably don't notice the clutter so much.

Hold up... is the TV in the living room levitating? Coooooooool!! 'Cause there's no way the owners left the stand on their flatscreen and THEN hung it on the wall... right??

This actually is a nice house. The price isn't outrageous (for L.A., honestly it isn't), it's a great location if you work on the westside. The airport will be noisy, but you're not on the flight path, and you could practically WALK to the terminal.

But honestly, it looks like a storage locker threw up in every room. It's clean, at least, but the clutter!!

It might be a nice house, but the photos are horrendous.

Is it really so difficult to spend half an hour picking up? You don't even have to put everything away - just move it all out of the way before you take the picture.

You should have shown all the pics. That's amazing. I'm a Realtor in Arizona and I'm always amazed at some of the photos.

great blog. Keep it up. I'll try and send you some. Hopefully, not my own.
