Have a seat

It would've been easy to not include the ripped, upside-down sofa in this photo, so I presume there's a good reason for it being here. Like... ah...

Unless! Maybe this was the best photo possible. Maybe there's something really awful just out of the shot. Like a ripped, upside-down sofabed. Now, that would be nuts.

It's the white arch in the yard that's got me wanting to make an offer on this property! LOL!

And what are those stains on the wood floor?

The sofa, in combination with the chair next to it, makes a comfortable al fresco seating/conversation area.

does photo #7 suggest murder?

and the featured photo contains all the drama - the arch in the far back, the empty, almost wet stage, the lonely chair and that poor dead sofa..

It's clear that the sofa has been attacked by the chair, which stands victoriously nearby.

This one is...just very dark and creepy. Ack!

leaving the sofa in must be as a warning that it's a hostile environment for upholstered furniture?

Maybe there's a really gruesome corpse under or behind it. You know how rough it is to get rid of a body. Just throw a couch over it. There — all better.

The listing says 6 rooms. And that there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bath on each level. Making 8 rooms.

But then there's photos of 3 "rooms", a nice size kitchen with AMPLE counter space, and 2 different bathrooms, making... 6 rooms...

Hey, for a 104 year old wood floor, it's in GREAT shape! Just don't put a blacklight on it, I'm sure there's a TON of scary DNA 'leavings' there....

I MIGHT offer $51K, it could possibly be worth what it was worth in '95.... After 7 months on the market, I bet my offer would be taken!

That's such a beautiful view (sniff!)

This would have to be just about the most depressing place I've ever seen ... and having followed your blog for a little while now, that's saying something!

OK, are you SURE they are trying to sell this place??

I think the chair has witnessed a rocky divorce.....

Oy.

I have nothing else to say: just "oy".

My be goes on large pile of smoulding farm animal parts in the other corner, yep a forlorn sofa is a cheery high note perhaps.

Can no one crop their pictures? The dead sofa could have easily been cropped out of the shot.
