Yet another fish story

OK, I give up. There must be some reason why people post photos of fish in their real estate listings, because there are just so damn many of them.

Found by Meg (I think).

Flooding would explain why the mobile home was gutted for remodel and how the guy caught a fish.

Why sir, I opened the door and the little ol' fishy just floated right on in.

Yes, by Meg! (I'm famous!) I found that "mo-bile" home for sale in the New Port Richey, FL on the Raleigh Craig's List! Like we don't have enough trailers here as it is!

The fish is the only reason to buy a house in Florida - there is nothing else there - No mountains, no decent beaches, no nice cities, it's all old people and fish!
Hence the photo!
OK --- I'll hide under my chair now!

They are trying to attract other fishermen. My husband doesn't care what the house looks like. Will there be a place for his boat and what can he catch near-by??It's like putting a model beside a new car. Buy this and you can get that.

Must be their BIG egos!

In all seriousness, maybe they're trying to show potential owners the kind of fish that can be caught in that area? Apparently just adding in "good fishing around here" is insufficient. :-)

Maybe an incentive? "Live here and you, too, will catch a fish THIS BIG!"

I think the magic is in the BIG not the fish. Or have we seen someone holding up a small fish? Must be a marketing strategy then, right? Help sell that not so fantastic and not so big home.

Finally! A Cragslist house listing with photo's that aren't blurry. . .I was beginning to think that blurriness was a requirement! L!

Maybe they are trying explain a smell in the house or something. Or maybe the fish pictures are just a "Red Herring". (I know bad pun....Sorry)

Ipa, I'm a Florida native (but no longer live there) and while I might give you all of your other comments on a bad day, I'd have to say the east coast of Florida has a lot of beautiful beaches.

The other thing Florida "has" is gorgeous winters, assuming you don't actually like winter (hence all of the old people from the Northeast/Midwest).
