Chair is everywhere

More Chair than you'll know what to do with can be found on Jens Thiel's functionalfate.org. Chair... so much Chair... Chair upon Chair, which I'm not sure I approve of:

By a weird coincidence, I got an e-mail from Jens as I was writing this. Coincidence -- or the power of Chair?

The chair obviously is the secret ruler of the world. Was just working on my book chapter about the plastic chair´s role in the Nicholas Berg murder in Iraq 2004 when I felt like checking the NYT and found your blog via your comment there. Anything to add to that, lolz?
Thanks for all the stuff you dug up and the lawn chair tattoo in particular - just amazing!

Wait! I didn't comment in the NYT -- I saw their Chair post because of your blog. So who started this circle? Could it possibly be... Chair?

We just didn't know what we were creating when we invented polypropylene. Clearly, it has an intelligence all of it's own...

Damn you, Joe Columbo! Check out Chair's family history...

I believe this is the Pearly Gates for Chairs. There are (at least) three conditions for entry:
1. If you have had a life well lived,
2. And you pass muster with Supreme Ruler Of Chairs,
3. And if you are made from polystyrene that has a half-life of 37.8 billion years, then:

::cue angels::
This is the place where you can look forward to spending your Eternity!

NYT: Someone else was referring to lovelylisting´s chair department then. Thought it was yourself, Sara.

Good btw. someone brought up the designboom-link that draw on my work. Urgently need to reorganize ff from blog to more website-ish functionality and catch up with all the new plastic chair art stuff I have in storage.. Joe Colombo btw definitely did NOT design the first full plastic chair.

No "HAIL"s from me, being German, lolz.

Uh huh...I told you Chair was in Kathmandu!

This is part of the footage of the sherpas gathering the climbing party [as you can tell there were many Chairs in attendance on this climb!] at the base of the South Col route.

A very moving and spiritual experience was had by all. Mt. Everest proved no match for Chair's indominable spirit!!

So many chairs, so many colors. Seat to seat. What a magnificent sight.

Maybe world peace is obtainable after all.

Wow.
